Okay. I’m not a huge fan of the Pakistani leadership and as allies go… Well, it’s one of those “with friends like these, who needs enemies” situations.
If you accidentally kill an ally’s soldiers, why would you wait a week to personally call the President of those soldiers and offer condolences? I get that one shouldn’t apologize for something that’s not one’s fault, and maybe we weren’t sure if it was our fault or not. But for heaven’s sake, pick up the darn phone and at least give one of those vague “I’m sorry for your loss, we’re investigating this tragedy” statements.
