Fast and Furious: the Plot Thickens

Issa, the CA Congressman leading the Congressional investigation into the Fast and Furious fiasco, must have a lot of self-control.  The ATF has been sending letters out warning people not to testify, and Holder still maintains he knew nothing in spite of talking up the program while in Mexico and his second in command discussing it on video.  Anyway, I respect that Issa isn’t a hysteric and that he’s going for hard facts before committing himself, but I think we’ve gone well beyond the “reasonable doubt” stage.

Sorry if I’m sounding repetitive on this, but it just feels like the Fast and Furious scandal isn’t getting enough press scrutiny.  Fast and Furious was a disgusting experiment dreamed up by “intellectuals” and leading to predictable results – lots of dead people.

And I have to wonder, what would ‘Lil Debbie Wasserman Schultz do had this gone down in a Republican administration?

About Mystic Cowgirl

I worked overseas in the aid game for longer than I'd like to admit and learned several important things: 1) Third World countries aren't poor because America is rich. They're impoverished due to socialist governments that provide neither rule of law nor basic infrastructures; 2) These socialist governments redistribute wealth from taxpayers to the government workers. There's no benefit to the poor or downtrodden, and certainly not to the general welfare in terms of infrastructure improvements. 3) America is moving toward the Third World model. Rule of law has been subverted because equality under the law is disappearing as special interests carve out exemptions to regulations and special favors under the law. The redistribution of wealth to government began decades ago -- total compensation for government employees now outpaces salaries in the private sector.
